Here is a historical look at the Healthy Workplaces project. This page was archived but retained for informational purposes in June, 2020. In Year 2 we continue to take the information gathered in the first year to the workers and agencies in the province through workshops, videos, and other media to disseminate the knowledge and to raise awareness of the issue. The activities of this year will be promotional, and evaluative, to determine effectiveness of the information dissemination.
We will use the communication strategy framework developed by Barrett that includes the following elements: communicator, purpose, messages, media/forum, audiences, timing, and feedback (Barrett, D. (2014). Leadership Communication, 4e. New York: McGraw-Hill Education, pp. 34-36). This framework ensures that we are considering the key aspects of the communication situation in delivering our message to the agencies in the province.
