As a Wellness Leader, you can share success stories, develop your professional wellness habits, and engage in a supportive community of like-minded helping professionals.
When you join the "Be a Wellness Leader" program by taking one of our Wellness workshops or wellness webinars, you add the ability to submit your wellness story to our Stories Archive to the regular advantages of membership.
We want to give you the chance to share ideas and stories and in doing so, enhance wellness in your workplace. Anybody who works in the sector can, by taking a leadership perspective, share their journey toward productive changes in well-being at the personal level.
The HWHP project is sponsored by the Ministry of Labour, in partnership with the University of Alberta, Faculty of Extension, ALIGN (formerly Alberta Association of Child and Family Services), the Child and Youth Counseling Association of Alberta, the Alberta Home Visitation Network Association, the Alberta Council Disability Services, and the Alberta Council of Women’s Shelters.
Our team is passionate about workplace wellness and is committed to growing wellness culture in the Alberta human-services industry. Our purpose is to help human service professionals develop strategies for change at the personal and agency level. We are hoping to create a community of professionals who want to share ideas and stories and provide helping professionals with resources for personal development.
